The Relevant Person doesn't work because they are sick, but they still get an income from their employer. How is this treated?

This income could be either occupational sick pay or some other form of ill-health compensation. To enter this correctly in our Renovator/DFG Calculator software, enter a notional figure of 1 in Hours Worked, and enter the amount received as earnings. Although they may normally work for 30 hours a week or more, the figure for hours worked is entered as 1 because people in this situation are not allowed to qualify for the "30 hours" earned income disregard.
